Do I need equipment before starting?+
No. A computer is enough to begin. We will make sensible equipment decisions together as your needs become clear.
Which DAW do I need?+
A DAW is ultimately a virtual recording studio and mixing console. Once you understand signal flow, routing, processing and workflow, the same principles apply across all professional platforms. Teaching is currently focused on a limited number of DAWs, but the knowledge itself is transferable far beyond any specific software. If you use a specific DAW, we can discuss your setup during the consultation call.
Is this only for electronic music?+
No. The engineering foundations apply across genres. Your musical direction shapes the practical work we do together.
What happens in the free consultation?+
We discuss your goals, experience, current setup and availability. You can ask questions and decide whether the programme feels right for you.
Do I need any previous knowledge?+
No. The programme is designed for complete beginners as well as musicians who want to strengthen their fundamentals. Curiosity, commitment and a willingness to practise are far more important than previous experience.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Payments can be made securely via PayPal or credit and debit card.
Can I choose what I want to learn?+
The programme follows a structured curriculum designed to build strong foundations and avoid knowledge gaps. However, your own music, goals and interests are always incorporated into the learning process. If you are looking for specific services such as music production, audio engineering, consulting or coaching in a particular area, feel free to get in touch by email to discuss your needs.
Can I join with a friend?+
Yes. Two students can attend together provided they have similar goals, musical interests and levels of experience. Students enrolling together receive a 25% discount each.
